“Tonight, I voted with my district. While I strongly support funding the Coast Guard, a hidden provision in this bill would grind offshore wind production to a halt, costing thousands of local jobs and impeding our ability to meet President Biden's clean energy goals.
"I have previously secured funding to train American workers in the offshore wind industry, and I will continue to fight for this critical clean energy industry. I will also continue to vote my conscience and be beholden to no one but my constituents.”
